We love to celebrate Christmas. The music began a few days before Thanksgiving this year since the season is shorter. This white tree is our first artificial tree, making it’s appearance for the second time. I won’t be finding pine needles until Valentine’s Day and with it being pre-lit, I just take off the red and green ornaments, put a bag on it’s head and take it to the basement. It is beautiful reminding me that as the babe came in a manger, he came to make me whiter than snow.
Anybody have one of these? My parents sent it to us for Christmas one year. It holds a special place on our counter every year as I remember times spent with my mom and dad. My dad now wishes Jesus a Happy Birthday in person. And winter has arrived for us. This is a random picture I copied from Bing images, but this pretty much looks like Syracuse yesterday…and the day before…and today. I may have to re-think my Weather is Over-Rated post. 🙂
