How Can an Ordinary Woman glorify God? Glorifying God can be such an abstract idea. This article said exactly what I've been trying to live out. My life verse is 1 Corinthians 10:31 which tells us whether we are eating, drinking or whatever we are doing to do everything to the glory of God. My days look much like the author of this link. I want to encourage you to think about how you glorify God each and every day for we are ordinary women loving and serving an extraordinary God. Today I am glorifying God by surrendering my day to Him as I get out of bed, thinking on Him first praying as I begin a new day He has given me. I spend time in His Word and talk to Him because He is not some distant god who does not care about His children, but a loving Heavenly Father who is working in me through His Holy Spirit. I continue to glorify God by loving my husband and children, lovingHis people by encouraging and counseling women as I answer emails and write this blog, meeting with women on a weekly basis as I teach God's Word and encourage them to love God with all their heart and mind and soul. I glorify God by taking care of the daily needs of my family, i.e. laundry, housework, fixing meals, and phone calls or texts from three children who are on their own. Glorifying God is not an abstract idea but a life lived out on a day in day out basis, making it my goal through the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit to follow my Lord in every choice I make. How do you glorify God?
