Praying 146

I will praise you O Lord.

I will praise you Lord while I live;

I will sing praises to You my God while I have my being.

I will not trust in princes(or presidents),

I will not trust in mortal man, in whom there is no salvation.

How blessed I am because the God of Jacob is my hope,

I hope in the Lord my God, who made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in it.

I hope in the Lord Who executes justice forever, giving food to the hungry.

I hope in the Lord who sets the prisoner free; opening the eyes of the blind;

raising up those who are bowed down and loving the righteous.

I hope in the Lord who protects strangers, supporting the fatherless and the widow,

thwarting the way of the wicked.

The Lord will reign forever, My God, to all generations.

Praise the Lord!  Psalm 146

    I am currently praying through the psalms with a student of mine. She never knew you could do such a thing and has really loved it so far!
