Psalm 119:49-56

Remember Your word to Your servant; You have given me hope through it. Our only hope is found in remembering God and His Word.  This is my comfort in my affliction. Your promise has given me life. Do I(you) turn to God's Word in times of affliction? Do I know His Word well enough that it is a comfort?  The arrogant constantly ridicule me, but I do not turn away from Your instruction. Even when ridiculed will I still turn to God's instruction? Lord, I remember Your judgements from long ago and find comfort. Rage seizes me because of the wicked who reject Your instruction. Your statutes are the theme of my song during my earthly life. Is God's Word the theme of my song, my life? Or is something else central in my life? Yahweh, I remember Your name in the night, and I obey Your instruction. In the darkest of nights, the afflictions, trials and adversities will I remember God and His Word? This is my practice: I obey Your precepts. Do I love what God loves and hate what He hates?  which shows I am made in the image of God.
