March

March did not come in like a lion or lamb. It was more like a heat wave. When we should have been wishing for spring to make it's entrance,we were wondering if we should turn on the AC...we did not, but it was nice to have the windows open in 80 degree weather in the middle of March. My monthly reviews continue with March ending with March Madness, NCAA Men's Basketball. I am watching the final 4 game in my beloved Iowa, visiting my mom and sisters. Reading slowed down except for daily Bible reading/study. Nancy Guthrie's book  The Wisdom of God (A 10-week Bible Study): Seeing Jesus in the Psalms and Wisdom Books (Seeing Jesus in the Old Testament) just came in the mail, so I'm working my way through that. Also reading Surprised by Oxford by Carolyn Weber and continuing to plod through The Works of Thomas Watson. With the weather almost hot some days I've been able to walk more than I expected. The total for March was 40 miles. (No boasting...just writing it down so I can remember). These reviews are as much for me...so on New Year's Eve I can look back and read where the year went rather than saying "I wonder where the year went."
