Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh….the day after Christmas. I don’t have to be anywhere, or go to work or school. Lauren along with Rob are on vacation so it is a day to just be….and probably head to the mall before a BIG snowstorm dumps 12-18″ of the white stuff on our front door. The winter of 2011-’12 is one for the history books I guess, we didn’t get much snow. It was wishful thinking to believe the winter of 2012-’13 might be the same. My guess is we’re on track to get the 100+ inches this area is known for. Guess I will spend my Christmas $$ on a pair of boots and a warmer coat.
For today enjoy the most read posts of 2012. Yes, I keep track, because I like numbers. Not in the same way my math teacher friends love numbers. I wonder who is reading what post, what my readers are interested in reading, etc. I read a post today about writing and marketing your book. The author of the post had this to say about his book. I have replaced the word book with blog
”Fred, your book is great, but it will only sell one copy. The person who reads it will be changed and will become my servant and take the Gospel to millions of people all around the world, and all because he read your book. Alternatively, I can have your book sell millions of copies, you will be rich beyond your dreams, but only a few will be saved. My son, it’s your free choice.”
What do we ultimately want from writing books? Fame and fortune? Or to be walking in God’s will? Fred Hurr

Ahhh the joys of winter and reflection….and when the snow thaws then freezes you will have more time to reflect on winter…..or winter for reflection…..it will be cold outside:-) Love your posts and thank you for inspiration and humor and your reflections on the word. xox
